Sometimes I do paintings just to give people a sense of peace. Painting is an emotional process and sometimes I feel like the ability to do so comes directly from God and his angels. Whenever I paint someone that has passed I feel an overwhelming sense of sympathy, empathy and compassion. A red cardinal visited me every day while I worked on this painting. And Yes..... I took pics of it. RIP Malik.
